QuickStart

1. Launch Adobe After Effects.
   
2. Create a new composition (Ctrl/Cmd-N).
   
3. Create a new comp-sized solid (Ctrl/Cmd-Y). Note that this solid should never be moved from center. To move the gradient around, use the controls inside the effect instead.
4. Apply Trapcode>Horizon to the solid.
5. Create a camera: Layer>New>Camera.

Now you can start playing with the plug-in controls.

General Description

Trapcode Horizon is a camera-aware image mapping tool that ties your After Effects camera to a 3D world. By applying images or gradients to the inside of a giant sphere, Horizon creates an infinite background, and renders what the camera sees on the inside of the giant sphere. This means that no matter where your camera is directed, photorealistic backgrounds or sky gradients look perfect. Camera zoom (FOV) will affect the output.

Trapcode Horizon is useful when a 3D camera move leaves the viewer confused. Horizon can generate a background that corresponds to the camera move and thus helps the viewer understand what is going on. Or it can be used just for fun.

Trapcode Horizon is a great companion to the other 3D plugs from Trapcode, such as Particular and Form, et cetera.
